Sept 5, Susan and Alex's wedding weekend. Katie was a bridesmaid, Justin looked like a CIA operative, and Dustin
(Lauren was at our table too:) and Justin built a tower with the cork wine stopper favors. Good time had by all!

Sept 16-19. My brother visits!
Eric, Akiko, Mayumi, and Zen
arrived for the first time. The
pups got along great with the kids,
we were able to visit landmarks,
and visit relatives Eric hadn't seen
in several decades. At Garden of
the Gods, at home, with Ellen,
John, and Courtney in Castle Rock.

Sept 23-27. Women of Faith
Conference, Denver. Mom
arrived on her way back from
Cinci as well and we stayed in
our apartment, walking to the
conference center. Our second
day seats, spending a Sunday
afternoon as cousins, mothers
and daughters with Ellen and
Courtney.

Oct 30. Justin and I spent
Halloween Eve in Denver going to
the 13th Floor Haunted House with
Ryan and Lindsey and then taking
in a spooky show downtown. Can
you guess who we are? If you said
Scooby Doo characters, you were
right! Daphne and Shaggy. We
were among the brightest
costumes out that night - and lots
of people wanted pictures.
Downtown was the place to live up
